Installation and Maintenance

Before installation, test-fit the scuff plate and confirm its position. Thoroughly clean and dry the bumper surface, removing all dust, grease, wax, polish and other residue that may affect adhesion.

Remove the protective backing from the automotive-grade adhesive tape, carefully align the plate and apply firm, even pressure across its entire length. For maximum adhesion, install in warm, dry conditions.

Avoid washing the vehicle, exposing the plate to heavy rain or placing pressure on it immediately after installation. Allow the adhesive sufficient time to bond before normal use.

Clean using mild automotive soap, water and a soft microfibre cloth. Avoid steel wool, abrasive compounds and harsh chemicals, as these may scratch or discolour the stainless steel finish.
