DELIVERY & SHIPPING POLICY
Peak 4x4 ships orders throughout Australia and to selected international destinations. Shipping options, carriers and pricing are calculated at checkout based on item size, weight, delivery location and service type. While Australia Post may deliver to PO Boxes, many courier and freight services do not. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure a valid and suitable delivery address is provided for the selected shipping method. Where a PO Box is supplied for a courier-only service, delays, re-routing or additional charges may apply.
BUSINESS VS RESIDENTIAL ADDRESSES
Shipping rates at checkout are calculated based on the address type selected by the customer (business or residential), carrier requirements and freight dimensions. A business address must be a commercially zoned premises with standard business receiving hours and appropriate access for freight vehicles. If a business address is selected but the carrier identifies the location as residential, the carrier may redirect the shipment to the nearest servicing freight depot or apply additional residential delivery charges, including tailgate vehicle requirements, residential surcharges or rebooking fees. Any additional costs incurred as a result of address misclassification will be the responsibility of the customer and must be paid prior to re-delivery. Peak 4x4 is not responsible for delays arising from carrier address reclassification. Large or palletised items may not be deliverable to residential addresses without additional services. Customers may elect to collect from the nominated depot or request residential re-delivery at the carrier’s quoted rate.

DEPOT COLLECTION
For large, bulky or palletised items, delivery may be arranged to the nearest freight depot servicing the destination postcode. Customers are responsible for collecting goods from the nominated depot within the carrier’s specified timeframe. Failure to collect within this period may result in storage fees, rebooking fees or return freight charges, which will be passed on to the customer.
ORDER PROCESSING
An order confirmation email is issued upon successful checkout and serves as proof of purchase. Customers are responsible for ensuring all delivery details, contact information and delivery instructions are correct at the time of ordering. Where delivery without signature is authorised or goods are requested to be left unattended, all risk transfers to the customer upon delivery confirmation. Peak 4x4 accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage after delivery has been confirmed by the carrier. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday unless otherwise stated by the carrier.
DELIVERY TIMES – AUSTRALIAN HELD STOCK
Items held at our Australian warehouse are typically dispatched within 1–2 business days. During peak periods, promotions or high-demand events, dispatch times may be extended. Dispatch and transit timeframes are estimates only and do not constitute a guarantee. Once dispatched, typical transit times range from 2–7 business days depending on location and carrier performance.
DELIVERY TIMES – BACKORDERED OR INBOUND STOCK
Backordered items are supplied via bulk international shipments. Estimated lead times are typically 4–8 weeks but may vary due to manufacturing schedules, freight congestion, customs clearance or other factors outside our control. Upon arrival at our warehouse, orders are generally processed and dispatched within 2 business days. Estimated delivery dates are indicative only and delays do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
TRACKING
All Australian domestic shipments include tracking once dispatched. Tracking details are issued automatically via email. Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking progress and must contact Peak 4x4 promptly if a shipment appears delayed or missing so an investigation can be initiated with the carrier.
RECEIPT, DAMAGE & CLAIMS
Customers must inspect all deliveries immediately upon receipt. If an incorrect item is received, it must not be opened, installed or altered. Items that have been opened, installed or tampered with are not eligible for return or refund. Damaged items must be reported within 4 calendar days of delivery and retained in original condition for assessment. Photographic evidence of the item and packaging will be required. Failure to notify Peak 4x4 within this timeframe may result in the claim being declined.
