TT35 Nitro shocks

Bought and had fitted by Sharmo the mechanic at my local NBJ workshop. Put on the front and the rear Nitro shocks for my new Rexton. These total about $1k for the four shocks, plus about $600 to fit. Sharmo was whining about the lack of instructions, in fact he phoned up for advice to Peak and KGM to no avail. But it got it sorted in the end! This made, as I expected, the world of difference to the ride. I did not change the springs as I was not looking for a lift. The car is plenty high already.

The improvement in the ride was immediate and dramatic, and since being Sharmo'd the car has lost the banging and shudder on poor roads. Shocks set to 2 on the adjustment scale this far - but I will experiment later.

In fairness I have only driven the car 200km since fitment, but initial feelings are very good. The front to rear wallow is also gone. I could have a bit of confirmation bias, but I love the ride, but I will update after a few months. I think that if you buy a Rexton and want it to ride like an Aussie car on Aussie roads, then you need to get these fitted when you buy the car and include it in your price. Then you have a top value, top spec, Australianised car for about $52k. Bargain!
